The First Beacon
Pages one and two of a four-page issue. The bottoms are cropped and will be added later. Check out the "Beatnik Party" on page two. The paper is dated "Nov. 26, 1959. Some familiar looking names here- is that Joe McGrath's older brother?
It's All a Blur
Two pictures that never made it into the 1971 yearbook. The prom was held at the Helen Wilkes Hotel (called the George Washington at the time) in downtown West Palm Beach. The building was demolished last year. Senior Lou Ann Lewis was crowned Prom Queen that night.
